To the senses, Champagne Vidoré releases aromas of ripe yellow fruit such as peach and mirabelle, nuanced by buttery hints of vanilla and mocha.
On the palate, it combines aromas of ripe and dried fruit (apricot, hazelnut, peach...) while freshness is confered by the Chardonnay.
The lingering finale ends with a hint of a toasty flavor.
Its wonderful complexity is perfect as an aperitif or to accompany any meal.
Champagne Vidoré combines three grape varieties (80% Pinot Meunier, 15% Pinot Noir and 5% Chardonnay) and its development relies on the superior expertise of Maison Leconte.
Our master winemaker bases his activity on the lunar cycles as his grandfather did. He aligns his actions with the natural cycle of the earth in the vineyards, and in the cellar, with the freezing, drafting and disgorgement phases of the process.
Our primary inspiration is to produce quality wines.
Champagne Vidoré has been produced since 2014 by Alexis Leconte, an independent winemaker and oenologist located in Troissy-Bouquigny.
Maison Leconte was founded in 1870 and has been producing champagne for six generations.
The vineyard consists of forty small plots spread over five villages.
Each sub terrain is distinct and this diversity is an exciting feature of Champagne Vidoré.
The design of the Vidoré bottle is based on a study of current trends in luxury.
These trends are defined by the concepts of elegance, tradition and uniqueness. The bottle, with its curve and decoration, reflects the wish of the Vidoré brand to be part of the tradition of champagne and respect its fundamental values.
All our bottles are hand-made and numbered, which makes each bottle unique.
